Monochrome
In the monochromes, I wanted to highlight an object or subject through colour, in a tintless environment. The painting then becomes a universe, an association or dissociation.

Tyrolienne
In this painting, I offer you an experience, a vision: a colourful, living being, bathed in light, coming to life in this environment devoid of colour but rich in texture. To detach the model from her surroundings, I have used the
‘bokeh’ technique borrowed from photography. Small points of light thus become like tiny spotlights that highlight the subject
being photographed. The black and white background acts as a fracture between two eras, between the living and the inanimate.
Entering one's own universe?
Chimères
Taking two different worlds and putting them together -
that's what art can allow us to do, for the pleasure of the
eyes, the imagination and the senses. The chimera then
becomes a funny, imaginative portrait in which both the
painter and the viewer can find themselves.

Wolfgang von Pesquet
Through this portrait, I wanted to create an amusing painting, to capture us in an undefined space-time. Without knowing Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart or Thomas Pesquet, I wanted us to be captivated by this break with tradition, represented by the outdated portrait, dressed in a cosmonaut's suit.
Let's not look for any other meaning than humour, fantasy and the desire to provoke laughter, astonishment and mischief in the person who stops in front of this unusual portrait.
And why not laugh about it?

Star Duck
Oil on canvas
52 cm × 74 cm
52 cm × 74 cm
In this unlikely hybrid, the icon of galactic pop culture meets animal simplicity. The helmet, suit and flight instruments borrowed from Star Wars pilots become the armour of a new being: an astronaut duck, ready to dive into hyperspace.
This chimera embodies the meeting of two distant worlds – science fiction and the natural bestiary – to give birth to a new species, both familiar and foreign, as serious as it is absurd.
An offbeat nod where the imagination revisits codes and blurs boundaries.
